Small Band, Big Swing

The Flying Crickets emblem

The Flying Crickets are a swing jazz ukulele duo built around close harmony, quick chord changes, and the kind of interplay that only comes from years of trading lines on stage and off.

Together, Paul and Cora pull from the Hot Club tradition — Django Reinhardt runs, Fats Waller stride, and the odd modern tune bent into a swing shape — for an act that feels intimate in a front room and lively enough to fill a marquee.

Based near Newbury and available to travel, the duo brings its own PA, its own set list, and an ear for reading the room.
